When Mayor Sheldon Neeley took the stand on March 24, the council asked him questions about the bid process, but also campaign contributions, alleged hostile work environments, and nepotism. The council voted to hold the investigative hearings last year after administration officials said the bid process was done in private the first time around-a violation of the city’s charter-and therefore had to be redone. ![]()
